If in VicIII the USA just uses popular vote to elect the president, then that's two historical elections that can't arise naturally from the game's mechanics. The United States Electoral College, which led to the candidate who won the most votes losing the election in 18 (and 1824 before the game starts).Vic III would need, at most, laws that any nation can pass but in practice only a few would, or the AI strategy needs a tweak in favour of a historical outcome that doesn't railroad the player. ![]() ![]() To be honest, I can't think of many situations that need a bespoke system.
